About Our Office
We are located in downtown Vancouver on the sixth floor of the Scotia Tower. The tower is at the intersection of Georgia Street and Seymour Street. The practice was founded in the 1960’s by Dr. Frank W. Fraser. It moved to the Toronto Dominion Tower in 1971 and to it’s newest location in Scotia Tower in 2003. Dr. David Mitchell and Associates are happy to accept new patients.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION
As of November 19th 2001, the B.C. Medical Service Plan (MSP) no longer covers routine eye examinations for individuals aged 19 to 65. For patients younger than 19 or over 65, the medical services plan still provides a benefit. Eye exams due to some medical conditions may still be covered. Some examples are:
- Diabetes
- Glaucoma
- Cataracts
- Prescriptions over +/-8.00 Diotpers
